Svetlana Vladimirovna Decheva, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of English Philology, Moscow Lomonosov State University, specializes in English phonetics, syllabics, rhetoric, and, more specifically, in British-American phonetic interplay in Global English environment. She is the author of numerous publications on the subject and an academic supervisor of a seminar on American English for the British-oriented student of English philology. She is the passionate supporter of cultured English and public speaking in the University phonetic course.

Irina Markovna Magidova is Doctor of Philology,Professor of the Department of English Philology, Moscow Lomonosov State University,the author of numerous publications. Her main subjects are phonetics,phonostylistics,philological phonetics,pragmalinguistics. For years she has been supervising student and postgraduate research in a seminar on pragmaphonetics and pragmaphonostylistics.

Natalia Georgievna Trenina, Doctor of Philology, senior teacher of the Department of Linguistic Communication, School of World Politics, Moscow Lomonosov State University, and lecturer in British and American studies. Her academic interests lie in the field of American English and literature, as well as British vs American phonetics, rhetoric and pragmalinguistics. She also specializes in BBC English and the speech of television newsreaders, both in English and Russian.
